BLACK & WHITE
I occasionally turn an image into a Monochrome or Black and White picture. Sometimes a scene looks better that way.

Dalkeith Palace, located in Dalkeith country park. Near Edinburgh. This picture is not very accessible. Wellington boots required to access a small island in the river.

Bamburgh Castle. Image taken from just by the car park.

Squrr na Stri, from Elgol Skye. Taken December 2017 after my late brother and I decided Glen Coe was too much of a wash out, so we headed further up the road. I forgot just how much further Skye was. Elgol is not exactly a five minute trip from the Skye Bridge either. Accessibility - You get pretty much this view from the Carpark at Elgol. The colour version of this is not that different. I will put one of the images from this trip on to the Skye page.

Swan and Cygnets on Linlithgow Loch

This is the Jacobite Steam Train passing the former Lochailort Chapel. A very accessible image taken from the side of a dead-end road. So long as you know the train is coming, you should manage a good picture here.

Tantallon Castle with Bass Rock which is one and a half miles out to sea. This is in East Lothian, a little further East of North Berwick. 1/800 sec, f8, 95mm. Nikon D750 with Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G (f11 would have been better for the Bass Rock)
